WWF centre opens in Chotiari, Sanghar

The WWF has set up eight information centres, four of which are in Sindh alone. press release.

KARACHI: The Chotiari Conservation and Information Centre was inaugurated in Sanghar district, according to a World Wildlife Fund press release on Friday.

First Secretary Environment and Water at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Jan Willem Cools was the chief guest.

The WWF’s Nasir Ali Panhwar described the centre as a facility for teachers, students, researchers and other members of civil society to build their knowledge about different facets of the local wildlife, forests, vegetation and water lakes.
