LAHORE: A caravan of Pakistan People’s Party workers (PPP) from Punjab left for Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in Sindh on Monday to mark the ninth death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

Speaking to the media at the Lahore Railway Station, PPP stalwart Sohail Malik said a large number of party workers were coming from different areas of Punjab. He added they were going to Ghari Khuda Baksh to pay homage to their leader.

“If the government fails to accept PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s demands of democratic accountability, party workers will go to any extent to force its hand.”
