Meeting discussed the mode of public-private partnership

LAHORE: The first meeting of special cabinet committee on promotion of low cost housing schemes in collaboration with Albayrak Group of Companies, Republic of Turkey was held on Thursday. The meeting discussed the mode of public-private partnership, financial feasibility, transaction structure model and determination of executing agency for this purpose. It was decided in the meeting to constitute a sub-committee headed by Secretary Housing Punjab Khurram Agha, which will outline in detail the title transfer ownership, after identifying three suitable places in Lahore where three different commercial plazas will be constructed by Albayrak Group of Companies. The income generated will be invested in construction of low cost housing schemes in various parts of the province.
