Short circuit: Fire kills one, injures two  

Police in their initial investigation report said that fire broke out due to short circuiting in the stationary shop

MUZAFFARABAD: A man was killed and two others injured on Tuesday in a fire in the Baloch area of Sudhanoti District, some 180 kilometres from Muzaffarabad.

According to the police, a fire broke out in a stationary shop in Baloch Bazaar and quickly engulfed another shop in which one person was burnt to death while two others sustained burn injuries.

By the time fire tenders got to the area from Tralkhal, which took them almost an hour,
two shops had been completely gutted.

The deceased was identified as Kashif, while Rashid and Nazir suffered burns.

Both the injured were shifted to Baloch Health Centre for treatment, where doctors discharged them after administering initial first aid.

The police in their initial investigation report said that fire broke out due to short circuiting in the stationary shop.
