Transfer and posting: Govt appoints new education secretary

Jamal Mustafa Syed replaces Dr Fazlullah Pechuho as education secretary

KARACHI: The Sindh government appointed on Monday Jamal Mustafa Syed as the new education secretary, replacing Dr Fazlullah Pechuho.

After the notification issued by the services, general administration and coordination department, Syed, who is an officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, has taken charge of the department. Dr Pechuho had been serving on the post since 2013 and was recently made the secretary of the health department.
