Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Few things are more annoying than, having invested all sorts of time and effort in arrangements that are dear to your heart, only to discover they can’t proceed as anticipated. Rather than try to restore these as they are, pause and reflect on how they could be improved, then do exactly that.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

Usually you’ve a knack for sidestepping the heavy-handed approach certain individuals’ take to dealing with already tense issues. By acting as a sort of translator, you keep them from upsetting others while you ensure it all works out. However, with things so complex, the less involved you are, the better.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

Somebody in particular is a complainer. While ordinarily you can ignore their words, recently they’re finding fault in everything and everybody, including you. Mention it. Be gentle but give them several clear examples. Then discuss the situation. Bizarre as it seems, the individual in question may be unaware what they’re saying.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

By no means are you narrow-minded. On the contrary, you’re always interested to hear about what others are exploring and doing. Making changes that would take you into an unfamiliar setting is another matter. Still, begin asking questions. What you learn will be surprisingly reassuring, although those insights will come in stages.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Being a Leo and a fire sign, your approach to life is as intense as it is fast paced. Still, every once in a while events force you to slow down. While ordinarily this will annoy you, you’ll soon realise it’s giving you time to analyse certain worrying situations in depth.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Because you plan so carefully, you tend to view sudden changes with suspicion. But between the recent Full Moon and the coming week’s powerful planetary activity, even what seems worrying initially could turn out to be a welcome, and timely, breakthrough. Knowing that, embrace even very last minute changes with optimism.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

As a thoughtful Libra, you pave the way for even simple discussions. And if you’re concerned others will be difficult, you’ll take particular care to ensure they’re ready. Still, judging by the exciting yet unsettling planetary activity between now and the end of the year, you can say only so much.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Between now and the end of the year, there’s spectacular planetary activity. While you may already be aware of some of what it’s ushering in, with the planet of innovation and the unexpected, Uranus, at the centre of it all, at least some of what arises will be as disruptive as it is thrilling.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Although the actual Full Moon was a few days ago, because it accented close alliances, you and others are probably still wrestling with the issues it raised. While some of these matters merely need to be discussed, a few will require a combination of patience and a willingness to be understanding.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

Can you plan ahead for mistakes? With Mercury going retrograde in Capricorn on the 19th, it’s a question worth asking. And the answer is, to the extent possible, arrange things so they’re flexible enough that if the surprises typical of this cycle arise, you can make the necessary changes without much drama.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

On 9 November Mars moved into Aquarius, triggering a cycle of review and dynamic action. While you’ve made masses of changes, numerous of those plans have yet to happen. Although Mars’s departure from your sign, on Monday, will somewhat reduce the pressure, they’ll continue to unfold, if at a slower pace.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Few things are more aggravating than dealing with those who must have the final word when making plans or, in fact, in any discussion. While, usually, this doesn’t matter, now it does. Ensure you state your views, feelings and intentions, and in a way that firmly ends conversations of any variety.
