ISLAMABAD: The  Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday granted bail to a suspect allegedly involved in a  Modarba scam. The IHC divisional bench comprising Justice Athar Minallahand Justice Aamir Farooq heard the bail plea of Fazal Subhan. The counsel for the petitioner, Rao Sarfraz, contended that his client was illiterate and merely a low level employee working in the company of Mufti Ahsan. He contended that the company owner used Subhan like a pawn and he (Subhan) did not do anything intentionally or  deliberately.  The counsel added that had  his client drawn any financial benefits, he should have had a luxurious life style. NAB Rawalpindi had arrested 43 people in Modarba cases and had recovered Rs568.82 million from them.
