Rustam Khan was required to pay 250,000 Saudi Riyals in the wake of the Taif accident that took place last year, according to media reports.

Unable to furnish the funds, Khan made a desperate plea in a video where he offered to sell his kidney for money. After the video went viral, Saudi actor Fayez Al-Malki revealed in a clip that a Saudi, who wished to remain anonymous, had agreed to pay the entire amount. The clip also showed the actor handing over the money to the driver's family.
