Dhaka, who were asked to bat first, were guided by Evin Lewis’ 45 off 31 balls as they scored 159 in 20 overs for the loss of nine wickets. Player of the match, former Sri Lankan batsman, Kumar Sangakkara contributed 36 off 33 balls.
For Rajshahi, Farhad Reza bagged three wickets in his four overs for 28 runs.
In their chase, Rajshahi promised a lot till the 10th over but after the wicket of Sabbir Rehman (26), Kings didn’t look up to the task.
Mominul Haque was the top-scorer for Rajshahi with his 27 off 30 balls. Samit Patel (17 off 12) was the only other batsman besides these two to enter double figures in otherwise an under-par chase. The team was all out for 103 in 17.4 overs.
