
The agreement was signed in a ceremony involving LTC chairman Khawaja Ahmad Hassaan, FBS managing director Nooruddin Ahmad and FBC chairman Perry Blackerby at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Monday.
Hassaan said that the new buses would provide standardised transport facilities. Unauthorised transport would be removed to help both transporters and commuters, he said. He said that the LTC was building a congenial climate for investment. He said that the LTC was helping private companies enter the sector. He said that concrete measures were being taken to get resources for the refurbishment of old buses.
