Media Education: KU to host Marathon Conference

The first International Marathon Conference on Media Education will be held at Karachi University (KU) tomorrow (December 7) and December 8. Over 65 leading journalists, advertising and film professionals, scholars and educationists from across the country, the United Kingdom and the United States will share their experience at the two-day conference which is being organised by KU’s mass communication department. The conference is aimed at initiating a dialogue between media academia and industry and recommending important qualified measures to address the challenges related to media education and the industry. Featuring three parallel sessions at a time, the conference will comprise a total of 17 interactive programmes on a wide range of topics. Fahd Husain of Express Media group will also speak at the session.
