The petitioner, Arsalan Ali, said he received a phone call on his cell phone at 11pm. Ali said the unidentified person asked him on the phone to provide a sex worker. The demand infuriated Ali who subsequently lashed out at the caller.
However, Ali said the caller told him to not provide his number to websites if he was not into the business. When the caller told him the name of the website, Ali browsed the internet and found his number there.
According to the petitioner, the number was put up by Imtiaz Ahmed, his wife’s former husband. Ali said Ahmed did so to humiliate them as they had filed cases against him in the court.
Ali said he visited the authority concerned to file an FIR against Ahmed but no one registered the case. Therefore, he requested the court to direct the FIA director to register an FIR in the case and get their contact numbers removed from the website.
