FAISALABAD: Saddar Jaranwala police killed two suspected robbers in an encounter on Saturday morning. Police spokesman Amir Waheed said a patrol team was on routine duty and noticed a car carrying five suspicious people near Chak No 58/59-GB on Shahkot Road.    The police flagged down the car, but the driver tried to speed away while passengers fired at the cops. The police retaliated and two of the suspects were hit in the exchange of fire and later died at hospital. However, three others managed to escape.
