Long distance: Tele-workshop held at NICVD

NICVD conducts day two of its second interventional workshop.

KARACHI: The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) conducted day two of  its second interventional workshop on Saturday.

The workshop themed “percutaneous intervention in the under-developed world” hosted almost 200 cardiologists from all over the country. Day two of the event was spent in a tele-workshop through which the participants had direct visual communication from the conference hall to the seven cardiac catheterisation laboratories where cardiologists were performing cardiac catheterisations, angiographies and angioplasties.
