Audience enthralled by Pak-Argentine musical celebration

65th anniversary of diplomatic relations celebrated at PNCA

ISLAMABAD: To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Pak- Argentinian diplomatic relations, the Argentinian embassy in collaboration with PNCA organised a musical evening with Argentinian and Pakistani musicians who performed solo and also collaborated.

PNCA DG Syed Jamal Shah stressed the need for further cooperation between the two countries and termed music the best medium for this as it transcends borders and cultures.

The Argentinian ambassador was the chief guest at the event. He also stressed more cooperation and collaboration between the two cultures. He appreciated the participation of the youth in the audience and stressed the need to focus on youth for the future of both counties.

Argentina seeks partnership in agriculture, livestock

The audience were enthralled by the Argentinian maestro Lautaro Tissera, who performed tango and folk rhythms. Tissera is currently on a tour of the Middle East and India.

The Argentinian musician was joined by young Pakistani band ‘Richie & The Leo Twins’, who played violin and guitar. Both the acts collaborated to fuse Pakistani and Argentinian music and instruments and received rapturous applause from the audience.
