QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri on Saturday claimed that he was not only the chief of the Zehri tribe but also the patron of all Baloch tribes as provincial chief minister.

He declared that he would be available to the Bugti tribesmen in their difficult days and would be ready to help them. The chief minister said this while addressing a public meeting in Sui. Zehri said that we have contributed nothing to the stability and solidarity of the country while Pakistan as a state has contributed a lot in our lives. “We should serve Pakistan as a state also,” he added.

Zehri also criticised those who are commanding the insurgency in the province while sitting thousands of miles away from their homeland.

He added optimistically that the present conflict in Balochistan will also be resolved soon.

Earlier, the chief minister also attended the Parents Day function at the Sui Military College as the chief guest. He lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Army in establishing a prime education institution in the area.

He assured the audience that his government would establish technical training centres in all parts of Balochistan.
