International moot: Faiz festival kicks off today 

The last two days of the festival will feature panel discussions, music and theatre performances

LAHORE: The three-day 2nd Faiz International Festival will start at the Alhamra Arts Council on Friday (today) with an exhibition opening and a play ‘Anhi Mai Da Sufna’ by Ajoka Theatre.

The last two days of the festival will feature panel discussions, music and theatre performances, book launches, lectures, poetry and theatrical readings, photographic and art exhibitions, visual art and story-writing competitions, reminiscences of our cultural icons, workshops on dance, theatre and film making. Several other exciting and interactive activities have also been planned.

Some literary stalwarts like Munoo Bhai, Kishwar Naheed, Mustansar Hussain Tarar, Asif Farrukhi, Amjad Islam Amjad, Iftikhar Arif, Anwar Masood, Asghar Nadeem Syed will also participate in various sessions.

All talks, panel discussions and performances except for performances by Tina Sani and Abida Parveen, are free and open for all.
