Anti-encroachment drive: RCB confiscates six truckloads of goods

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) confiscated six truckloads of goods from different markets in its operation against encroachments. According to RCB spokesman Qasir Mahmood, the action was conducted on the directives of Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Saima Shah. He said encroachments were removed from Saddar, Chungi No 22, Masrial Road, Tench Bhatta, Bakra Mandi and other areas. Handcarts, counters, chairs, tables and other items of encroachers were confiscated and would not be returned to the offenders. He revealed that the items would be auctioned off.
