Man kills ex-fiancé in anger

LAHORE: A girl was shot dead by her fiancé in Lahore on Sunday. The police arrested the suspect and put him behind bars. Police said Sadiqa Bibi, 22, was a resident of Jalliyan Pind, Hadiara and was engaged to Asif.



However, the engagement broke due to disputes between their families. To take revenge, he opened fire on the girl, killing her on the spot. The police shifted the body to the hospital. After the incident, the police collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and recorded statements of the eye-witnesses. Later, the police apprehended the suspect and started interrogation.
