RAWALPINDI: Only 35.87 per cent students could clear the matric exam in their second attempt the education board said. Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) on Saturday announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) supplementary 2016 results.

Female student bags first position in pre-medical examination

According to RBISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Zareef, out of 15,983 registered students 15,450 appeared in the examination while 5,541 have been declared successful. The pass percentage of the examination remained 35.87%.

Educating Pakistan: Minister calls for overhauling of exam system

A total of 9,888 students were announced unsuccessful while 472 remained absent in the examination. He said, the students can check their results on the board’s website www.biserwp.edu.pk and www.biserawalpindi.edu.pk and also by sending SMS to 800296.
