
Each Snapbot will be in place for about a day, starting with one near Snap Inc’s headquarters in California. Prospective buyers can track where the Snapbots are located using a map on the Spectacles website.
Spectacles are a set of sunglasses featuring a built-in camera, capable of recording 10-second snippets of video.

If you can’t make it to a Snapbot but want to see how a pair of Spectacles would look on you, Snap Inc has a QR code on the Spectacles website - scan to add a limited-time filter to Snapchat to try them on - virtually.

The device features a single button which users can tap to start recording a video, and uses a 115 wide angle lens closer to the user’s natural field of vision, capable of recording a much wider video compared to a typical smartphone.
Spectacles record a circular video, which, the company argues, is more natural as compared to the typical rectangular format employed by any other device.
