ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani food stall was thronged by people of various nationalities, including the diplomatic community and media, at the Pakistan Food Festival held at a local hotel in Cairo.

A message received here from the Pakistan Embassy Cairo said that the Embassy of Pakistan is organising a food festival, which will continue for three days. Visitors and food lovers from around the world tasted Pakistani cuisines.

The entire theme of the stall was presenting a Pakistani culture, which was decorated with traditional art and crafts. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Egypt, Mushtaq Ali Shah, inaugurated the Food Festival.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the spirit behind organising the food festival was to help promote the country’s image and to introduce Pakistani cuisine into Egyptian food courts.
