KARACHI: The attack on a majlis in Nazimababad was a security lapse, said Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah while speaking to the media outside Jinnah hospital following his visit to former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain on Wednesday. "The majlis of the Shia community was going on inside a house, but the police should have had knowledge about the event," he said, adding that he has ordered an inquiry into the matter. "It is the government's prime responsibility to provide security to the citizens. Action will be taken against those found negligent," he said, adding that it has only been three months since he took charge as CM, so it will be premature to say that everything is right.
