FAISALABAD:
At least two persons were killed in a road accident in Sitiana police station jurisdiction on Tuesday. Police said Muhammad Usman, 14, and his mother, Zubaida Bibi, were riding a motorcycle when it collided with another bike near Chak No 35. As a result, Usman and his mother were killed on the spot.
Meanwhile, police claimed to have arrested two gangsters during a raid. A police official said a police team raided a hideout and arrested two gangsters identified as Javaid Gulzar alias Jeeda Arain and Moin Ali Qureshi. The police also seized two pistols and a number of bullets from them. The outlaws were wanted by police in a number of criminal activities.
