KARACHI: Corps Commander Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar called on Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and discussed the law and order situation in the wake of the Quetta attack on Wednesday. Official sources said that during the meeting, the issues of the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi and the implementation of the National Action Plan was discussed at length. “It was also discussed how to thwart the infiltration of terrorists coming from other provinces to Sindh,” said an official, adding that the two also discussed the agenda of the upcoming Sindh apex committee meeting that is likely to be held in the first week of November.
