"This is a great nation but corrupt mafia are sitting at the helm of affairs to loot and plunder, safeguarding one another," Imran said while addressing Islamabad High Court Bar on Wednesday.
Imran Khan further said that only an independent judiciary could save the country from the corruption being done by the rulers.

The PTI is ready to stage a mass protest in Islamabad on November 2 against the alleged corruption of the rulers. Imran demands the premier to either return the 'looted' money to the exchequer or step down from his position.
"Nowhere in the world a prime minister named in a corruption scandal continues to rule the country," PTI chairman said. "This is resulting in the destruction of national institutions, ethical practices and even the country's ideology."
Imran repeated his oft-quoted stance that the 2013 general elections were not transparent or legitimate, saying a large number of the crucial Forms 15 were missing from elections results.

Earlier on October 20, the Supreme Court issued a notice to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and others over petitions seeking his disqualification on account of Panama Papers leaks.
