Taking action: Operation to be initiated against KMC defaulters

KARACHI: Following the directives of Karachi Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Vohra, the KMC will begin its operation against its defaulters of municipal dues from today under the Land Revenue Act 1967.

According to the press statement issued by the KMC, final notice for payment of outstanding dues to owners of 132 marriage lawns, marriage halls and banquets situated in the District Central have already been sent by a team of the MUCT officials. The MUCT department has also chalked out a comprehensive strategy to speed up recovery from its residential, as well as commercial consumers.
