ATTOCK: A senior official of the Attock district administration said on Monday that the administration was launching an anti-dengue campaign to stop the virus from spreading.

In this regard, DCO Attock Rana Akbar Hayat said that special instructions had been issued to health and other allied departments to take all possible measures to prevent dengue fever.

Chairing an anti-dengue meeting, Hayat observed that isolation wards had been designated in every public hospital in the district.

The meeting, attended by all assistant commissioners, TMOs and other relevant officers, was informed that special measures had been taken in all the government hospitals for the dengue patients. Special wards and facilities are available at these facilities.

Moreover, officials of health and environment departments are working in all areas that are prone to dengue and ensuring that the larva does not spread.
