ISLAMABAD: Traders in Islamabad on Saturday urged the Capital Development Authority to complete development work around F-7 supermarket.
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Khalid Iqbal Malik said on Saturday said that the state of basic infrastructure in markets is quite unsatisfactory due to which customers and traders were facing problems alike.
“CDA should focus on completing development works in markets on priority to create an environment conducive for business,” he said while talking to a delegation of Traders Welfare Association Supermarket, led by its president Shehzad Abbasi.
“Supermarket is a prime shopping area of Islamabad frequented by diplomats and VIPs… CDA should develop it along modern lines,” the ICCI president said. He said an additional storey was badly needed in the supermarket and other markets in Islamabad to facilitate growth of business activities and urged the CDA to allow expansion of these buildings.
