Veteran politician Javed Hashmi is currently engaged in negotiations over his possible return to the PML-N fold, sources close to the former PML-N leader said on Friday.
According to the sources, the ruling party’s senior leaders have already endorsed the move but no formal announcement is likely to be made before next month.
They said that Hashmi would announce his decision about rejoining the PML-N when PM Nawaz Sharif visits Multan.
In November, the PM is scheduled to pay a two-day visit to Multan where he will inaugurate the Multan Metro Bus Service.
