Capital development: Minister briefed on CADD projects

Rs1.5 billion have been allocated for 12 on-going projects

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs2.56 billion for 26 development projects of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) in the current fiscal year, CADD officials said.

According to a statement, officials briefing CADD Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Friday said that out of the stated amount, Rs1.5 billion have been allocated for 12 on-going projects and Rs1.05 billion for 14 new schemes.

Chaudhry reviewed progress of the development projects of health and education sector, the statement said.

The minister while chairing the meeting directed the officials to ensure transparency and timely completion of projects undertaken by different organisations working under the supervision of CADD.
