Foolproof security: Law minister lauds police performance

Sanaullah urged ulema and mushaikh of all schools of thought to exhibit the same spirit of unity shown during Muharram

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has hailed the police plan on Ashura, crediting all elected members, police, government officials as well as law enforcement agencies for coordinated efforts to ensuring peace on Muharram 10.  In a brief statement issued on Thursday, he said the protection of life and property of citizens was the government’s responsibility and foolproof arrangements were made during Muharram. The minister urged ulema and mushaikh of all schools of thought to exhibit the same spirit of unity shown during Muharram to make Pakistan a citadel of Islam.
