Maintaining Peace: Police, Rangers conduct flag march

ISLAMABAD: A flag march was conducted by Islamabad police and Rangers on Friday. According to a press release, the SSP-Operations Sajid Kiani prepared a comprehensive plan for the flag march on the directive of Islamabad IGP Tariq Masood Yasin.SSP Kiani further said that the purpose of this flag march was to show preparedness of police and other law enforcement agencies during the Muharramul Haram to counter any challenge and maintain peace in the city. He also directed all the SDPOs and the SHOs to make effective security arrangements in this regard in their respective areas.
