Violating Traffic Rules: Crackdown against underage drivers

Seized over 120 motorbikes for not having proper documents

ABBOTTABAD: The Abbottabad Traffic Police Friday launched a crackdown against violators of traffic laws and imposed heavy fines on them. The drive, launched on directives of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) police Hazara region, police officials fined pillion riders, underage drivers, motorcycles using illegal number plates, unregistered motorcycles, vehicles without number plates and motorbikes without documents. Abbottabad Traffic Police during the crackdown said they had seized over 120 motorbikes for not having proper documents, were without number plates or were involved in one-wheeling. DPO Abbottabad on this occasion directed the traffic police to take strict action against violators of traffic rules.
