BAHAWALPUR: Media plays a vital role in ensuring sectarian harmony during Muharram. Peace can only be restored in the society if all stakeholders work jointly against terrorism and criminals. These views were expressed by Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar while addressing a press conference at Bahawalpur commissioner’s office on Sunday. He said, “Journalists have always worked to promote peace which is essential for the development of the country.”
