BAHAWALPUR: All government departments are working in collaboration throughout Rahim Yar Khan to get rid of polio, dengue and Congo virus, said RYK DCO Capt (retd) Zafar Iqbal during a briefing to Punjab Health Adviser Khwaja Salman Rafiq through video conference. Iqbal said no case of dengue has been reported in the district, but the administration was on high alert. Campaigns were being carried out to spread awareness about dengue and Congo viruses. He added that full attention was being paid during the polio immunisation campaigns in the sensitive union councils. Committees have been constituted under the assistant commissioners that will ensure 100% results.
