The managing director of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB), Misbahuddin Farid, told Naval Staff vice-admiral Hasham Bin Sadiq that S-III project cannot be completed without the funds provided by the federal government, after a meeting on Thursday. The S-III project is aimed at reducing sea pollution and stopping garbage dumping in the sea. The admiral stressed upon the KWSB that the sea was getting highly polluted. Misbah said that while Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the provincial minister for local government were extending all cooperation, the project’s completion is not possible without the funds from federal government. The vice-admiral underlined the need to clean the coastal areas of the country.
