15 year-old allegedly stoned to death in Hangu

The boy was on his way to school when a group of men started pelting stones at him

HANGU: A 15-year-old boy was allegedly stoned to death in Muhammad Khuwaja area of Hangu on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Zakirullah. According to SHO Fazal Muhammad, the boy was on his way to school when a group of men started pelting stones at him.

They managed to escape the site. Zakirullah was left critically injured, but later died. Zakirullah was a displaced person from Orakzai Agency, living in Hangu. He was enrolled in class 10 at a government high school.

Zakirullah’s father registered a case against Muhammad Nabaz along with his sons Muhammad Idrees and Muhammad Nawaz for allegedly killing his son. According to the father, Idrees and Nawaz had a heated argument with Zakirullah two days before his death.
