Up in arms: Transporters in Bannu protest against road tax

BANNU: Transporters and traders of the new General Bus Stand in Bannu launched a protest on Thursday over the payment of road taxes. A large number of transporters and traders pinned the blame on the Cantt executive officer for inconveniencing them.

All Transport Workers Federation South districts President Malik Maqbool Zaman Haider, a group of district councilors – Sadiq Khan, Malik Hashmat and Naik Daraz Khan – representatives of Anjuman-i-Tajran Haqeeqi addressed the protesters.
