Disappearing Act: Woman seeks recovery of husband

LAHORE: A petition was filed in Lahore High Court for recovery of a close associate of Dr Abdul Qadeer who was allegedly picked up from his house. The petition was moved by Ayesha. She is seeking recovery of her husband Shaukat Virk. The petitioner said some unidentified men had kidnapped her husband from their house. She said she had lodged an FIR at Nawab Town police station but police appeared to unwilling to take action on the matter.  The petitioner requested the court to direct law enforcement agencies to recover her husband and produce him before the court.
