Quality training: CPNE sets up skill development body

To impart training to those associated with editing, newsroom and other departments of newspapers and magazines

Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) president Zia Shahid has set up a CPNE skill development committee.

According to a communiqué issued by CPNE general-secretary Aijazul Haq, the committee was approved in a recent meeting of the standing committee with the goal to impart professional training and expertise on persons associated with editing, newsroom and other departments of newspapers and magazines.


The committee will have 32 members with Dr Waqar Yousaf Azeemi, editor Mahnama Roohani Digest, as its chairman and Syed Muhammad Munir Jilani, editor, Roznama Paigham, as deputy-chairman.
