8am:
I wake up, see the time on the clock and go back to sleep.
9am:
My alarm goes off again and I begin to scroll through the messages on my phone to figure out what all is going on today and what I need to attend to.
10am:
Every morning I like to read the Quran. Then I go on to order things at home.

10:30am:
I make sure I eat a really good breakfast and I do not like to go to work on an empty stomach! My breakfast usually consists of brown toast and eggs.
11:30am:
I reach the office, but not without my cup of coffee. Once I’m there, work is strictly work. I’m very serious about my career. I’m happiest when it’s a really busy work day and sad when there is less to do.
12noon:
I check in with all my girls about business and the tasks for the day.
2pm:
I especially go and check how the hair colour treatments are coming along.

3pm:
I’m happiest when I am working and don’t like to mix that with anything – not even lunch, so I don’t take a lunch break. I personally feel that work time is strictly that, but if someone happens to drop by and see me, we’ll have a quick bite in my office.
4pm:
I’m still doing my usual tasks for the day, which consist of managing the salon as well as cutting and styling hair.
6:30pm:
Things have finally wrapped up at work and I can finally look at my phone and respond to all the calls and texts I do not look at while I’m at the office.

7pm:
Once I’m home, my time is now strictly spent with my family, socialising or going out with my kids. At night, I do not respond to any work calls or messages till the next morning.
9pm:
I like to have a good dinner, which usually consists of a salad and some meat. I’m a meat-lover and I love eating all meat except chicken (if that counts).
12:30am:
I’m off to bed! It’s been a full day.
