Snooker: Masih loses opening matches
28-year-old suffered defeats against Thailand’s Pu-Ob-Orm and England's Stuart Bingham

Pakistan’s second-ranked national cueist Babar Masih lost his opening matches at the 2016 Sangsom 6-Red World Championship in Bangkok yesterday.
Masih lost his first group match 5-1 to Thailand’s Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm. The 28-year-old player failed to offer much resistance against the former professional snooker player and managed to take only the fourth frame of the match as Orm comfortably sealed the win.
In the second fixture, Masih suffered another defeat with the same margin at the hands of 2015 World Snooker Champion Stuart Bingham of England. Masih will face three more opponents in the group stage.
The invitational event is featuring 48 players in eight groups.
