LAHORE: A youngster was caught attempting to hide in the landing gear of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft on late Thursday night, sources in the Airport Security Force (ASF) told The Express Tribune.

The sources said that ASF personnel have taken the 17-year-old boy, named Muhammad Ramzan and hailing from Kasur, into custody and are questioning him.

It has also been learnt that Ramzan, was able to breach the airport security by sneaking in through the fence from Askari Flats, an adjoining residential area of Airport fence, attired in a black cloak. Ramzan, however, was caught before he could enter the aircraft. Duty officer Inspector Mansoor Alam confirmed to The Express Tribune that Ramzan was with the custody of the ASF. He, however, maintained that he was able to enter the airport through entrance that is reserved for catering services, adding  that Ramzan was unable to get all the way in.
