Three brothers were killed in Regi

LANDIKOTAL: At least seven bodies were recovered by the political administration in Charmar and Zayaray in Khyber Agency on Friday. On the other hand, three brothers were killed by a rival group in Regi area of the same agency.

A senior khasadar officer, Muhammad Shoaib told The Express Tribune they recovered three bodies after receiving a tip-off.

The unidentified individuals were shot in the head, the khasadar officer said, adding the bodies have been sent to hospital for autopsy and identification.

The other four bodies were recovered from Zyarai area of Landikotal. The bodies had bullet wounds on them. They were shifted to the paramilitary headquarters in Jamrud. However, the deceased were not identified till this report was filed.

In a separate incident, three brothers were killed by a rival group in Regi. The political administration officials told The Express Tribune that three brothers were en route to Peshawar when members of their rival group shot them. Subsequently, the siblings died. A case was registered in Jamrud tehsil office and investigation is under way.
