Addressing a general house meeting of the bar on Wednesday, lawyers said MQM chief Altaf Hussain and other leaders had revealed their intentions in anti-Pakistan speeches. They said such speeches by MQM leaders were provocative and the government should initiate action against them for sedition.
The lawyers said the Election Commission of Pakistan to cancel registration of the MQM for its involvement in anti-state activities.
LHCBA secretary Anas Ghazi moved a resolution on the issue. It passed unanimously. Bar members also chanted slogans against the MQM.
