Tragic: Teenage man commits suicide

MUZAFFARABAD: An 18-year-old man committed suicide over a domestic issue in Kotli area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Tuesday. Police said that the deceased was identified as Riyasat Maroof resident of Seeri village of Kotli District who committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol at his home. The police further said that the deceased was in stress due to some domestic and financial matters. The body of the deceased was taken to the Kotli hospital for medical and legal formalities. The deceased’s family did not allow police to conduct the autopsy. The police later handed over Riyasat’s body to the family.  The police have registered a case.
