Ahmed will be produced before an anti-corruption court today (Monday).
“We had multiple complaints against him,” explained ACE director Nazar Muhammad. “His accomplices will also be arrested if they are found guilty,” he assured.
Ahmed is accused of making millions of rupees in exchange for tampering examination results. Muhammad said that the officials were trying to locate him and had been searching for him for a while before his arrest. This time the officials had accurate information about his presence in Federal B Area and were able to catch him, said the officer.
He said that it has yet to be ascertained how much money Ahmed made in the process. The department has written a letter to the Federal Investigation Agency, asking that the accused not be allowed to leave the country.
