Fireworks at the tallest building of Pakistan

People said that the Bahria Icon fireworks were one of the best parts of the Independence Day celebrations

KARACHI: As part of Independence Day celebrations, a spectacular display of fireworks was organised at Pakistan’s highest, under construction, Bahria Icon building. A similar fireworks display was held at the beginning of the year at the 62-storey high-rise.

The fireworks were organised on popular demand and a large number of people, especially women and children, attended. People had started gathering at Shahrah-e-Firdousi from early evening.

The fireworks lit the building bright at 10pm. It looked like a fair where people enjoyed to their fullest.



People said that the Bahria Icon fireworks were one of the best parts of the Independence Day celebrations.

Bahria Town Icon is a designer building consisting of twin towers which will have apartments and retail and office floors. A few apartments have been designed by the international designer
brand Versace.
