
The operation was carried out along the border in Rajgal Valley in Khyber Agency's high mountain passes, said DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa.

Afghanistan, Pakistan agree on ceasefire along Torkham border
Earlier on Tuesday, Pakistan Army confirmed launching of the operation against terrorists to reinforce troop deployment in Rajgal Valley and guard against terrorists along the high mountains and passes in Khyber Agency.

The operation was launched after the COAS said all efforts would be committed to ensuring peace and stability along the Pak-Afghan border.
Pak-Afghan border peace a priority
Earlier this month, Pakistan constructed a gate at the Torkham border, termed by Afghanistan as inappropriate and a violation of previous agreements.
Both sides later declared ceasefire and agreed on the formation of a bilateral mechanism to discuss all issues related to border security.
